so i extracted the stories...

"Several S'pore Idol hopefuls blow their chances in
second auditions round with wrong outfits,
songs and dance moves"

"Similarly, ITE student Jolin Koo, 17, wore a punk rock get-up but chose a techno tune. She was rebuked for singing "a dance song, but not knowing how to dance".

"Instead, it was the low-key performers who got through to the next round.
Bespectacled student Tiffany Kwa, 18, was so low-key that the judges urged her to liven up. "Dick Lee told me I should get a new hairstyle," she said, giggling. "I probably will, with maybe some contact lenses."

"Fellow successful contestants Janson Tay and Milly Khoo also went the bare basics route in their clothing choices."
